November 2017…

Having successfully completed all the requirements for application and submitting my video audition, I was granted an interview at the holy grail…  Time to step up!  While on paper I looked like a great candidate, in reality I was still under-prepared and my novice guitar skills were not up the the standard needed.  My first rejection…  OUCH!

So, I scooped up my pride, reduced my clinical hours at the chiropractic practice, and committed to the daily guitar practice that was clearly needed if I was ever going to make this idea happen.  More lessons, more calluses, more performances, and more time to focus on the end goal.  Thankfully too, more time for other fun, and to explore music therapy in action by observing others, reading widely, and attending events.  This was a massive and wonderful learning curve!
